Lifetime Warranty on Motors

Drone Racing is an expensive hobby where crashes and damaged components can lead to costly replacements. We believe pilots improve faster when they can focus on pushing their limits without worrying about the cost of every crash.

The motor is one of the most vulnerable and expensive parts of a racing drone, and we understand the frustration of losing a motor due to a burnout or failure. That’s why we created the LIFETIME WARRANTY MOTOR Program — to give pilots the confidence to fly harder, experiment more, and improve their skills without the fear of unexpected replacement costs.

Because when the fear of damage is reduced, the joy of overcoming challenges becomes even greater.

The LIFETIME WARRANTY MOTOR Program allows you to get your burnt motors rewound free of cost for a lifetime when purchased from our store, helping you reduce the cost of getting your drone back in the air.

We understand that motor damage is a common challenge in FPV, and replacing motors repeatedly can become expensive. This program is designed to save you money and give you the confidence to keep flying, improving, and pushing your limits without worrying about motor failures.

We are excited to introduce this program to the FPV community in India and look forward to seeing how it helps pilots continue to grow their skills and enjoy the hobby even more.

Warranty Coverage

The Lifetime Warranty covers motors that are:

  • Burnt due to winding failure
  • Causing death rolls due to motor winding issues
  • Experiencing problems related to the internal motor winding

Eligible motors can be sent back to us, and our technical team will rewind the motor free of cost and return it to the customer. Shipping charges for sending and receiving the motor will be borne by the customer.

Only motors purchased from our store and listed with the Lifetime Warranty banner are eligible for this program.

Motor Rewinding Quality

Motors are rewound using high-quality silver core enameled copper wire designed to withstand temperatures up to 240°C. The rewinding process maintains the original KV rating and thrust performance of the motor.

The efficiency and KV of the motor will not be altered after rewinding.

Warranty Limitations

The Lifetime Warranty does not cover replacement of:

  • Motor bearings
  • Motor bell
  • Motor base

Motors with bent or damaged bells or damaged bases are still eligible for rewinding under the Lifetime Warranty, but the damaged parts will not be replaced.

Damage caused by:

  • User mistakes
  • Voltage surges
  • Physical damage caused during usage
  • Other external factors

will not affect warranty eligibility as long as the motor winding issue qualifies for the program.

Warranty Process

  • Motor rewinding will take approximately 2–5 working days.
  • Customers must contact customer support before sending the motor.
  • Send the motor only after approval from our team.
  • The motor must still be available with the customer to claim the warranty.
  • Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Important Terms

MekView reserves the right to refuse rewinding requests for motors that were not purchased from our store. Any fraudulent warranty claim will result in the warranty being voided, and the motor will be returned to the customer.

Warrant Claim Process

  1. Confirm Warranty Eligibility
    Before submitting a claim, make sure the motor was purchased from our store and is eligible for the Lifetime Warranty Program.

Please note that not all motors qualify for Lifetime Warranty. Eligible motors will have the Lifetime Warranty banner displayed in the product images on the product page. Make sure the motor you are claiming has this warranty banner before proceeding.

  1. Contact Customer Support
    Email our customer service team at support@139.84.222.4 with your order receipt and request a Lifetime Warranty claim.
  2. Warranty Approval
    Our customer support team will review your request and contact you with further instructions.
  3. Send Your Motor
    Once your warranty claim is approved, send the motor to the address provided by our support team.
  4. Rewinding & Finalizing the Claim
    After the motor has been rewound, you will receive a shipping payment link to complete the return shipment and finalize your Lifetime Warranty claim.
